KidStory (“the App”) is an interactive children’s storybook published by Ubotika LLC (“we”, “us”). We designed the App to be safe for children and families. This policy explains, in plain language, how the App handles information. The short version: the App does not collect, store, or share any personal information.
None. The App does not ask for a name, email address, phone number, location, photos, contacts, or any other personal information. There is no account or login. We do not operate any server that receives data from the App.
The App contains no third‑party advertising, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and no social media integrations. The App does not track users across apps or websites. No usage data leaves the device.
To remember your reading progress and which content has been unlocked, the App saves a small amount of information locally on your device (using the device’s standard app storage). This information never leaves the device, is not accessible to us, and is removed if you delete the App.
The App offers an optional one‑time in‑app purchase to unlock additional story content. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or receive your payment details. Those transactions are governed by Apple’s and Google’s respective privacy policies. Purchases are intended to be made by a parent or guardian.
The App is intended for children and the families who care for them. Because the App collects no personal information from anyone, it complies with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent provisions for children under the EU GDPR. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults.
If this policy changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and post the revised policy at this URL.
